Spring arrived early this year in the Midlands Rose Societies Heritage Rose Garden, with Rosa Laevigata 1759, also known as the Cherokee Rose showing her first blooms. This lovely rose only blooms once in early Spring. During the ROSA National Convention in October, delegates will visit the garden,
and the garden will once again be part of Open Garden Saturday 25th October – Sunday 26th October.

This garden was created and is maintained by the Midlands Rose Society and
has over 146 different varieties of Heritage roses dated between the 1500s
and 1945.
