1st in the Nostalgia section (Brumilda van Rensburg)
2nd in the nostalgia section( Tess)
Shireen: 3rd in the Nostalgia section (Lady of Sharlott)
1st in the Heritage section (Jacques Cartier)
Kate Wallace also did very well.
3rd in the Hybrid Tea section (St John’s College)
1st in the Floribunda section (Happy Home)
They will all receive rose bushes , kindly sponsored by Ludwig’s Roses.
We hosted our first function of the year at a local restaurant in Hilton and despite the heat, 60 members attended.
Wayne Devitt, a member who is most successful demonstrated his way of growing roses from cuttings, He uses a mixture of Cinnamon, honey and Dynaroot 2.

He gave each member a small bottle of his ‘Magic Mix’ as well a instructions.
Members were also asked to bring their favourite rose to the function and Gill Wilson and Sally Morning , our accredited ROSA Judges, awarded the best rose on show, Magaliesburg exhibited by Dawn Pellew.
